Bill Serate

Bill S. started their career in 1993 as an Application Engineer at Oriental Motor. Bill then moved up the ranks to become Assistant Application Engineering Manager, Production Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and Operations Manager/IT Manager/Executive. In 2013, they joined Dara Security as CFO, Engineering, Co-founder, and Director. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, managing financial risks, monitoring cash flow, creating financial forecasts, and handling all strategic matters related to budget, cost benefit analysis, and funding. Bill also developed a streamlined infrastructure for the company to improve efficiency and productivity.

Bill S. attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Bill then continued their education at the same university, graduating in 1992 with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering- Controls and Dynamics. Additionally, they hold a CTGA (TR-39) certification from Pulse EFT Association LP and Star Networks, Inc.
