Arusha Imtiaz

Arusha Imtiaz has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Arusha is currently working at Daraz as the Chief Commercial Officer, where they oversee marketplace operations across five countries and manages a team of over 200 people. Prior to this, Arusha served as the Global Head of Marketplace at Daraz, where they successfully scaled the commercial operations, grew the seller base, and improved customer experience.

Before joining Daraz, Arusha worked at Rewterz as the Chief Operating Officer and played a crucial role in the company's operations. Arusha also worked at Careem, where they held various positions such as Head of Partnerships, Manager of Customer and Captain Experience, Growth and Performance Manager, and Supply Manager. At Careem, they focused on managing supply and demand, optimizing customer experience, and developing partnerships to drive brand growth.

Arusha also has experience in business development, having worked as a Business Development Manager at Rewterz, where they were responsible for acquiring new business and managing relationships with partner companies. Additionally, they co-founded Edjunction and served as the COO, leading the development of a communication platform for schools.

Furthermore, Arusha has been actively involved in the startup ecosystem, serving as a Startup Ambassador for Plan9 - PITB's Tech Incubator. Arusha has also worked at Lahore University of Management Sciences as a Research Associate and Teaching Assistant, where they contributed to research projects and supported faculty members.
