Faizan Syed

Faizan Syed has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. FAIZAN is currently working as a Manager Operations 3PL at Daraz since February 2021. In this role, they are responsible for managing all performance, operational, and financial aspects of the business with TCS, M&P, and Rider.

Prior to their current position, Faizan worked at Shan Foods Private Limited from 2016 to 2021. FAIZAN held multiple roles during their tenure, including Deputy Manager Int'l Logistics, Assistant Manager Intl' Logistics, Export Warehouse Lead, Assistant Manager Supply & Production Planning - Intl Business, Assistant Manager - Supply & Production Planning - Local Business, and Management Trainee. In these roles, Faizan played a key role in planning and executing container sailings, creating SOPs, rebuilding teams, reducing loading time and improving communication among different departments.

Before joining Shan Foods, Faizan worked as a Supply Chain Intern at Pakistan Petroleum Limited in 2015, where they evaluated and validated contractors involved in the movement of rigs and materials. FAIZAN also worked as a Supply Chain Intern at Pakistan State Oil Company (PSO) in 2013, where they conducted analysis to calculate supplier reliability for petroleum product supplies. In addition, Faizan gained finance experience as a Finance Intern at Pfizer in 2012, where they managed key account claims and generated daily reports.

Faizan Syed's education history begins with their completion of O-Levels in Pre-Engineering at The City School in 2007. FAIZAN then pursued A levels in Engineering at The City School PAF Chapter from 2007 to 2009. Faizan went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General from Hamdard University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Continuing their academic journey, Faizan completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in General Management at KSBL from 2014 to 2016.
