Rida Salman Siddiqui

Rida Salman Siddiqui has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rida Salman began their career as an HR Intern at Engro Polymer & Chemicals Ltd in 2016. In 2017, they served as a Project Intern at Colgate-Palmolive. Later that year, they joined Daraz, where they held various roles within the organization.

At Daraz, Rida started as a Trainee in the Customer Experience department, where they led the System & Processes team and implemented Salesforce Service Cloud for Customer Services. Rida Salman also launched a Customer Services Portal to streamline access to information for the Call Center staff.

Continuing their growth at Daraz, Rida joined the Human Resources department as a Trainee. Rida Salman organized the recruitment drive for Daraz's Future Leadership Program and oversaw the execution of the Case Study Program. Additionally, they launched an internal messaging platform across the Daraz Group.

Moving into a more senior position, Rida became the Marketplace Lead at Daraz. In this role, they managed the engagement and experience of a 30,000+ seller base. Rida Salman also focused on catalog management to improve the selling SKU % and ensure the platform's content quality.

Rida's most recent role at Daraz was as the Head of Catalog and Compliance. Rida Salman was responsible for managing a catalog of over 20 million assortments across five countries. Rida Salman developed and implemented policies to facilitate the growth of assortment on Daraz and optimized seller policies to enhance customer experience.

Currently, Rida serves as the Regional Head of Marketplace at Daraz, starting in December 2021.

Rida Salman Siddiqui completed their high school education from The Lyceum School in the field of Business/Commerce, General from 2011 to 2013. Rida Salman then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the Institute of Business Administration, which they successfully completed from 2013 to 2017.
