Sumaiya Alam

Sumaiya Alam is a dedicated professional in the field of Human Resources, currently serving as a Specialist in Learning & Culture at Daraz since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Human Resources Executive and Intern in HR Operations, and a Human Resource Associate at Battery Low Interactive Ltd., where responsibilities included conducting interviews, creating job circulars, and screening applicants. Sumaiya has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at North South University, supporting educational activities under the supervision of a lecturer, and held multiple positions within the NSU Finance Club, demonstrating leadership and commitment to student development. Prior to these roles, Sumaiya gained operational experience at Interactive Cares as an Operations Executive, where contributions included improving operational procedures and managing customer service functions. Sumaiya holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Human Resources Management and Management Information Systems from North South University.
