Syed Mudassir Imam

Syed Mudassir Imam has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Syed Mudassir started their career as an Intern at SUI SOUTHERN GAS COMPANY, where they focused on quality control in meter manufacturing. Syed Mudassir then joined Thal Engineering as a Trainee Engineer, where they implemented lean management tools to improve production processes and ensure timely delivery of quality products.

After that, Syed worked as a Supply Chain Consultant at ISEO Serrature Spa., where they introduced Demand Driven Material Requirement Planning (DDMRP) and conducted spend analysis and planning using IT tools. Syed Mudassir then moved on to Midas Safety Pakistan as an Operational Excellence Analyst, where they strategically prioritized and mapped end-to-end operational and business processes. Syed Mudassir also led change management activities and implemented Lean Six Sigma strategies for process excellence.

Currently, Syed is working at Daraz as a Project Manager-FBD. In this role, they support the company's Fulfilment (Warehousing) projects and focuses on improving inventory capacity utilization, monitoring high aging inventory, and expanding the Daraz Express service. Syed Mudassir also works on increasing processing capacity and establishing operational policies and procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders and logistics partners throughout Pakistan.

Syed Mudassir Imam's education history includes a Master's Degree in Management Engineering Supply Chain & Operations Management from Politecnico di Milano, which they completed from 2016 to 2018. Syed Mudassir also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Industrial & Manufacturing from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), completed from 2011 to 2015. In addition, they obtained a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the PIQC Institute of Quality Pakistan in 2020-2021.
