Syed Muhammad Fauz Ul Azeem

Syed Muhammad Fauz Ul Azeem has extensive work experience in the field of operations and logistics. Syed Muhammad started their career at Pharmatec Pakistan as an Intern in Marketing and Sales in 2011 and later returned for another internship in the same role in 2012.

In 2013, Azeem joined Daraz as a Junior Logistics Officer for Crossdocking, where they enhanced the cross-dock model and expanded the supplier portfolio. Syed Muhammad also implemented reports using power pivots and maintained strong relationships with suppliers.

Azeem then moved on to the role of Team Lead Inbound Operations at Daraz, where they achieved significant results by fulfilling a high number of orders within the designated timeframe. Syed Muhammad introduced same-day inbounding processes and dramatically increased the same-day inbounding numbers.

In 2016, Azeem was promoted to the position of Warehouse Manager at Daraz, where they successfully managed the operational aspects of major campaigns and achieved a minimal error rate during Black Friday. Syed Muhammad automated email processes for strategic vendors and received recognition as the Talent of the Year.

In 2017, Azeem joined Goto.com.pk as a Senior Manager Warehouse. Syed Muhammad implemented Oracle Logfire, 5S, and cartonization features to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Their expertise in warehouse management led to an invitation as a panelist at the Oracle Modern Logistics Roundtable.

In 2019, Azeem was promoted to the position of Head of Operations at Goto.com.pk. Syed Muhammad successfully achieved key performance indicators and took charge of complete operations, including data enlisting, customer service, sourcing, warehouse, and logistics. Azeem also played a vital role in designing and implementing Seller Hub, a one-window platform for sellers to manage their business.

In 2020, Azeem joined Neem as the Manager of Product and Operations. Syed Muhammad coordinated with a multinational partner, JD.COM, and implemented their Warehouse Management System in Pakistan. Additionally, they set up complete 4PL operations for different clients working in multiple categories.

Most recently, Azeem has started working as the Head of Last Mile at Daraz in 2021. Their role entails overseeing the last-mile delivery operations.

Throughout their career, Azeem has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in operations management, and a track record of implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency.

Syed Muhammad Fauz Ul Azeem has a strong educational background in the field of business and management. Syed Muhammad completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Supply Chain Management from the Institute of Business Administration from 2016 to 2021. Before that, they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Marketing from Bahria University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.

Syed Muhammad Fauz Ul Azeem also has an academic foundation in science and engineering. Syed Muhammad completed their Intermediate degree in Pre-Engineering from NCR-CET College from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained their Metriculation degree in Pre-Medical from Beaconhouse from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Syed Muhammad Fauz Ul Azeem has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Syed Muhammad completed a Program on Supply Chain from Lahore University of Management Sciences in February 2018. Syed Muhammad also attended the Young Leaders Conference at the School of Leadership in June 2010. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications in Supply Chain Modeling from the Center for Executive Education (CEE), IBA, Karachi, and in Transport Industry Practices from PIFFA (Pakistan International Freight Forwarders Association).
