Tanvir Arefin

Tanvir Arefin has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tanvir started their career as a Field Officer at Sustainable Training And Research (STAR), where they worked in the Non-Formal Primary Education Program, verifying and evaluating houses and students for schools funded by donor agencies. Tanvir also selected qualified teachers and managed activities within budget.

Tanvir then joined banglalink as an Intern at Loyalty & Partnership, where they analyzed social media sites, communicated with vendors, and analyzed customer redemption trends. Tanvir also worked as a Customer Care Trainee, handling customer queries, promoting products, and providing guidance to new recruits.

Next, Tanvir worked as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Control N Web Services, where they maintained client websites and managed marketing aspects. Tanvir then joined Daraz BD as an Operations Executive (Outbound Logistics, AIG Express), managing delivery associates, creating schedules, and generating performance reports.

Following this, Tanvir worked at pickaboo.com as an Outbound Manager, where they managed the outbound delivery system, planned routes, and combined product pick-ups from the Business Development department.

Most recently, Tanvir has been working at Daraz since 2017. Tanvir started as a Vendor Fulfillment Manager, making delivery plans for campaigns, managing delivery supervisors and riders, and ensuring timely delivery. Tanvir then became a Logistics Manager, where they created a delivery team, developed SOPs, and managed the entire delivery system in 19 districts. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Last Mile, overseeing the last-mile delivery operations.

Tanvir Arefin completed their education in a chronological order. Tanvir began their educational journey at West Point School in Darjeeling, where they obtained their ICSE (Indian Council for Secondary Education) degree in Science, which they earned between the years 1999 and 2006. Afterward, they pursued their education further at the same school, achieving an ISC (Indian Secondary Certificate) in Business/Commerce from 2006 to 2008. Finally, Tanvir attended BRAC University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Marketing and Human Resource Management.
