Xiaolin Qu

Xiaolin Qu has a strong background in technology and engineering, with experience spanning multiple companies. They currently hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Daraz, a role they began in December 2021. Prior to this, Xiaolin was a Staff Engineer at Alibaba Group from May 2019 to December 2021, where they also acted as the Chief Technology Officer of Daraz. During this time, Xiaolin played a crucial role in building Daraz Singapore and China Tech hub from scratch and defining the technology strategy and vision for the company. They successfully managed a multinational tech team and collaborated with other C-level executives to develop new business models and capabilities. Xiaolin led the team in creating a robust platform with high availability and scalability to support increased transaction traffic.

Before their time at Alibaba Group, Xiaolin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Garena from June 2015 to September 2017, where they focused on developing an Instant Messager App for Indonesia. Prior to that, they started their career at Alibaba Group as a Senior Software Development Engineer in April 2013 and were promoted to Senior Development Engineer in July 2014.

Xiaolin Qu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued their education further and earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, completing their studies between 2010 and 2013.
