Wasantha Perera

Wasantha Perera has extensive experience in security operations and training, currently serving as Security Operations Manager at Daraz since December 2018, following roles as Security Coordinator and Security Supervisor within the same organization. Prior experience includes a position as Training Adviser in Security at Sri Lanka Ports Authority and a tenure as University Sergeant Major at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. Wasantha Perera's military background includes serving as Warrant Officer Class I in the Sri Lanka Army Special Forces for over two decades, and a role as Sergeant with the United Nations. Educational credentials include a Certificate Course in Management from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, a Diploma in Ceremonial from the Infantry Training Centre in the UK, and a Tamil language training course from Sri Lanka Army Headquarters.
