Sophie Choo

Sophie Choo is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in trading and analysis. Currently serving as an Associate Structured Energy Trader at Dare since October 2021, Sophie contributes to 25-30% of the daily cleared volumes per product in an independent trading entity. Prior to this role, Sophie worked at SOVA Capital from June 2017 to October 2021 in sales, focusing on emerging market Russia and analyzing market data to generate investment ideas. Additional experience includes positions at QUMMIF as Lead Analyst for a technology fund, and at Credit Suisse as a Foreign Exchange Middle Office analyst, among others. Sophie holds a Master of Science in Investment and Finance from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Financial Mathematics from the National University of Singapore. Additionally, Sophie achieved CFA Level I certification in 2012.
