Akram Traboulsi

Akram Traboulsi, CFA, PRM has a diverse work experience spanning over 22 years. Akram is currently working as a Compliance and Risk Director at DarGlobal. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at K&T Associates. From 2018 to 2023, they served as the MENAT Regional Chief Controls Officer at HSBC, where they led a team of seven in the regional implementation of a Global Transformation Program for Non-Financial Risk. Akram's earlier experience includes roles such as Head of Risk Management at Bank Alkhair B.S.C., Senior Business Analyst at the same institution, and Business Analyst at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Akram also worked as a Corporate Credit Analyst at Al Khalij Commercial Bank and as a Consultant at Atos. Throughout their career, Akram has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in risk management, financial analysis, and decision-making. Akram is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation.

Akram Traboulsi, CFA, PRM completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Warwick, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Akram obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2011 and the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification from the PRMIA - Professional Risk Managers' International Association in 2015.
