Carl Markowitz

Carl Markowitz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Carl most recently worked at Honeywell as a Senior Estimator since August 2020. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Swim Coach at Darien Ymca starting from February 2018. Carl also worked at Pavarini McGovern as a Senior MEPS Estimator from August 2019 to August 2020.

Carl has significant experience in estimating and managing MEP projects. Carl worked at CNY Group as a Senior MEP Estimator from June 2016 to August 2019, where they collaborated with a team of estimators and developed MEPS estimates for various construction projects, ranging from townhouses to super tall office buildings. Carl also worked at Pavarini Construction as a Project Estimator/MEP Coordinator from February 2016 to July 2016, providing MEP estimating and technical support for a range of projects.

In addition, Carl has experience as an Estimator/Project Manager at Mulvaney Mechanical Inc. from August 2014 to May 2015, estimating and managing mechanical projects for various customers, including chemical, pharmaceutical, aerospace, schools, and hospitals.

Earlier in their career, Carl worked at Bonfitto, Inc. as a Project Manager/Estimator from March 2008 to August 2014, where they focused on business development and managed non-union specialty mechanical projects. Carl also worked at Rees Industrial as a Chief Estimator from 2005 to 2008, where they were responsible for business development and increased company sales.

Before that, Carl worked at Morris Kreitz and Sons, Inc. as a Project Manager/Estimator from 2002 to 2005, estimating and managing union mechanical projects for clients such as Harley Davidson and Proctor and Gamble.

Carl started their career at RPA Associates Inc. as a Project Engineer from 1998 to 2002, where they managed process-related projects in a specialty metals manufacturing facility.

Carl Markowitz attended Northrop University from 1980 to 1981, where they obtained an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics FAA Certification in the field of Airframe and Powerplant. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained additional certifications such as a Wilderness First Aid Responder - Offshore from Wilderness Medical Associates International in March 2019, and a Youth Swim Coach certification from USA Swimming in January 2019.
