Tomer Meydad

Tomer Meydad has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tomer most recently worked as the VP of R&D at Travel Booster by Galor since February 2023. Before that, they held the same position at DarioHealth Corp. since November 2021 and was also the Head of R&D and Platform from April 2021 to November 2021.

Prior to that, Tomer worked at Sarine Technologies as the Director and Head of SW and DevOps from February 2018 to April 2021. Before Sarine Technologies, they were the VP of R&D at Nipendo from February 2014 to December 2017, where they established the engineering group and implemented a new development methodology.

Tomer also has experience working at Salesforce.com as the Director of Development and DevOps from December 2011 to December 2013, where they implemented Agile methodologies to improve engineering delivery capabilities. Tomer also worked at CA as the Principal Engineering Program Manager from December 2009 to December 2011, where they managed multiple projects and led cross-functional teams. Tomer also served as the Agile Coach for the Israel site during that time.

Earlier in their career, Tomer worked at Oblicore, which was later acquired by CA, as the R&D Group Manager and Release Manager from August 2008 to December 2009. Tomer also held the role of Senior Team Leader at Oblicore from June 2006 to August 2008, where they managed development and tier 4 teams.

Tomer's work experience began at Check Point Software Technologies, where they worked as a Software Engineer from March 2000 to May 2006. Tomer then became a Team Leader Software Engineer from January 2005 to May 2006.

Overall, Tomer has a strong background in R&D, software development, and management, with a focus on implementing Agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams.

Tomer Meydad obtained a Certificate in Software from Sela University from 1999 to 2000. Tomer then pursued a BA in Business Management & Technology from The University of Derby from 2003 to 2006. Tomer completed an MBA in the Department of Business & Marketing from The University of Management Academic Studies from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2007 and as a Certified Scrum Professional in 2011.
