Nimi Ariel

Nimi Ariel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nimi is currently working at Dark Slope as the Lead Technical Animator and previously held the position of Technical Animator at the same company. Prior to that, Nimi worked as a 3D Visualizer and Animator at their own company, Nimi Ariel. Nimi also served as a 3D Modeling and Animation Lecturer at SAE Institute from 2015 to 2018. In addition, they provided 3D workshops and training at Dutch Comicon in 2017. Earlier in their career, Nimi worked as a Marketing Manager at Decofresh Holland, a Project Manager at Eden, a Freelance Producer at NA sound, and a Camera Crew Assistant at the BBC.

Nimi Ariel began their education in 1994 at "Habsor" high school in Israel. Nimi obtained their A levels with a major in film and video editing in 1998. In 2001, they attended the University of Sussex in the UK and completed a certificate program in English Language. In 2004, they pursued sound engineering at Sapir College in Israel and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Practical Sound Engineering.

Nimi then went on to attend SAE Institute in Amsterdam in 2009, where they obtained a certificate in Autodesk Maya training. In 2010, Nimi Ariel returned to SAE Institute and completed another diploma in Interactive Animation. Nimi furthered their education at Escape Studios in the UK in 2012, where they earned a certificate in Advanced Lighting and Shading with Maya & Mental Ray.

Additionally, in 2012, they attended DADIU (Danish National Academy for Digital Interactive Entertainment) and received a diploma in animation. In 2011, they returned to SAE Institute and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Animation.

In terms of additional certifications, Nimi Ariel has obtained certifications in various areas related to their career. Nimi completed a course on Character Setup and Animation through Coursera in February 2019. Also, in February 2019, they obtained a Unity Certified 3D Artist Specialization from Coursera. In January 2019, they obtained certifications in Asset Creation and Management, Creating Cutscenes in Unity, and Integrating Scripts for Scene Interactions, all from Coursera. Additionally, they completed a course on Lighting, Reflection, and Post Processing Effects in January 2019 through Coursera. In October 2015, Nimi Ariel obtained a certification in User Experience: The Beginner's Guide from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF).
