Kat Orekhova

Kat Orekhova is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Vareto, a collaborative planning and analytics platform for enterprise teams, since May 2020. In addition to this role, Kat is a General Partner at Darkmode Ventures, aiding founders in building companies. Previous experience includes acting as a Sequoia Capital Scout and participating in First Round Capital's Angel Track. Kat held the position of Head of Product at Ironclad, Inc., and worked in various roles at Facebook, focusing on product lead for Groups. Early career endeavors included financial research at Hedgeye Risk Management and academic roles at Yale University. Kat holds multiple degrees in Mathematics from prestigious institutions, including Yale University, the University of Oxford, and Uppsala University, as well as a degree from Stanford Law School's Directors' College.
