Raj Pannu

Raj Pannu is the Founder & CEO of Emergence Creative, a communications agency focused on addressing global challenges through social purpose and creativity. Since November 2014, Raj has led Emergence with the motto of "Creativity for the Common Good." Raj serves on the Board of Directors for Phoreus Biotechnology, Inc. and is a Co-Founder and Board Member of 19 To Zero, as well as a Board Member of Darkness to Light. Additionally, Raj co-founded and holds a Board position at Smart Cities New York and is an Advisory Board Member for Resilience Rising. Prior experience includes leadership roles at McCann Health, where Raj was SVP and Director of Global Health and SVP, Chief Scientific Officer, overseeing public health practices and developing brand strategies for global pharmaceutical clients. Raj holds both MS and PhD degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology from The University of British Columbia.
