Matthew Tierney

Matthew Tierney is an accomplished professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as the Director of Solutions Engineering for Northern Europe, UK&I at Darktrace since September 2016. With a background that includes roles such as Senior Technical Manager and Cyber Technology Specialist, Matthew has extensive experience in advanced cyber defense solutions, particularly those based on machine learning and mathematics from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Darktrace, Matthew studied Information Technology in Organisations at the University of Southampton, where a BSc degree was obtained. Additional experience includes positions as a Healthcare Administrator at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and various administrative roles in organizations such as Addaction and Care UK.
