Arthur James Horton has a diverse work experience. From August 2008 to August 2010, they served as a Research Assistant at the University of Prince Edward Island, working with Professor James Polson. Arthur James'sresponsibilities included maintaining and running code for molecular dynamics simulations and incorporating new features.
In August 2010, they joined Simon Fraser University as a PHD student and remained there until December 2017.
From August 2019 to May 2021, Arthur worked as a Data Analyst at DarkVision Technologies Inc. Arthur James then transitioned to the role of Programmer Analyst, which they held from May 2021 to April 2022. Arthur James is currently employed at the same company as a Software Engineer since April 2022.
Arthur James Horton completed their Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Mathematics, with a concentration in Physics, from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2010. Arthur James then pursued further studies at Simon Fraser University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Elementary Particle Physics between the years 2010 and 2013. Arthur continued their education at Simon Fraser University, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Elementary Particle Physics from 2013 to 2017.
DarkVision
DarkVision Technologies Inc. was founded in 2013 by a group of experienced entrepreneurs that have expertise and a track record in developing and commercializing imaging technologies. The company has developed a new ultrasound-based imaging technology used to image the inside of oil and gas wells. With a clear picture of the inner working of theirwells, oil and gas operators can make smart decisions that reduce operating costs, increase production, improve well integrity and minimize environmental impacts. Unlike camera technologies, DarkVision’s high resolution ultrasound imaging system is able to image through opaque fluids that have inhibited the widespread use of cameras and optics as a downhole diagnostics tool.
