Jonathan Parkin

Jonathan Parkin has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Jonathan is currently working as an Operations Engineer at DarkVision Technologies Inc. since April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director - Richmond Workshop at GEA Group from March 2021 to April 2023.

Before joining GEA Group, Jonathan worked at FabricAir as a Project Manager/Engineer from June 2018 to March 2021. In this role, they managed and executed various wind turbine retrofit projects, secured government funding, and designed and implemented quality and business processes.

Jonathan also gained experience at GEA Group as a Manufacturing Engineer, EIT from July 2016 to June 2018. There, they planned and directed capital projects, led lean six sigma initiatives, and provided technical manufacturing support.

Jonathan started their career as a Research & Teaching Assistant at UBC Mechanical Engineering from January 2015 to December 2015.

Jonathan Parkin has a diverse education history. Jonathan obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, although the dates of their enrollment are unknown. Jonathan later pursued a Masters of Science in Carbon Management from The University of Edinburgh, which they completed in 2021. This program was offered by the College of Sciences and Engineering.
