Joshua Jessup

Joshua Jessup has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Joshua is currently working at DarkVision Technologies Inc. as a 3D Visualization and Data Analyst. Prior to this, they worked at Carter Honda as a Sales and Leasing Consultant, where they specialized in product knowledge and leasing/finance options. Joshua also established ongoing relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction. Joshua has also worked at UBC BEST, where they served as a Project Lead for the Enable team, managing a team focused on developing solutions for mobility-related issues and collaborating with non-profit organizations. Joshua also served as an Electrical Design Team Lead, managing a team developing rehabilitation-focused exoskeletons and serving the community through pro-bono projects. Additionally, Joshua worked as a Senior Hardware Designer for Music 2 Movement, where they developed assistive musical therapy devices and conducted case studies and interviews to improve designs. Furthermore, they worked as a Mechatronic Systems Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University, contributing to the development of a low-cost, instrumented shoe insole and assisting in human subject trials. Joshua also has experience as an Instructor at UBC Recreation, teaching skating and hockey to various age groups. Finally, they worked as an Engineering Co-op Student at Raute Oyj, where they gained experience in drafting, CAD drawings, and data analysis. Joshua also worked as a Proshop Attendant and Junior Instructor at West Coast Golf Group, fulfilling various responsibilities within the Proshop.

Joshua Jessup completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of British Columbia, which took place from 2014 to 2020. In addition, they obtained a DELF French-Speaking Certificate in December 2013, although the institution where they obtained it is unknown.
