Alissa Earle, PhD, is an accomplished Principal Data Scientist at Darling Consulting Group since June 2021, with a strong background in systems optimization and interdisciplinary research. Prior to this, Alissa worked as a Systems Optimization Analyst at LC Drives, where simulations were developed to enhance geothermal system performance. Alissa's academic career includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on seismic sensor networks for asteroid research, and significant contributions as a PhD candidate, producing high-resolution surface composition maps of Pluto. Alissa's expertise also extends to teaching and mentoring students in astronomy and programming, with additional experience in developing educational programs for younger audiences. Alissa holds a PhD in Planetary Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from Siena College.
