Barbara Ford

Barbara Ford is an experienced professional in the fields of mental health and social services. Currently serving as a Darlington County School Facilitator since December 2019, Barbara Ford works collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to address current needs while providing social work services and counseling. Previously, as a Mental Health Specialist at Pee Dee Mental Health Center from June 2015 to November 2019, Barbara Ford assisted patients in gaining competitive employment. Barbara Ford's career also includes a tenure at the SC Department of Health and Human Services, where responsibilities included interviewing applicants and maintaining caseloads for medical assistance programs, and earlier experience at the Department of Social Services determining eligibility for assistance. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Limestone College.
