Takehiro Shirai

Mr. Shirai is a general partner at IT-Farm, a Tokyo- and Palo Alto-based investment firm who invests in early stage technology companies in digital-health, AI, mobile, big-data, mobility, and IoT. The firm actively invests in SF bay area, as well as other geographies including Asia and Europe. Since the foundation of the company in 1999, Mr. Shirai has been playing key roles in technical due diligence and market validation for all investments. He has been also helping portfolio companies to expand businesses and partnerships in Japan. Prior to IT-Farm, he had supported a number of Silicon Valley startups to enter Japan market. He started his career as a microprocessor designer at Intel.
