Courtney Timmons

Courtney Timmons has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Private Tutor at Rapport Education since July 2019, focusing on neurodiverse learners in subjects such as math and science. Prior roles include working as a Title I Charter School Substitute Teacher and a Math Intervention Specialist at San Diego Unified School District, where Courtney developed a mathematic intervention program for underperforming students and implemented effective classroom management techniques. Additionally, Courtney has a background in marine research as a Laboratory Technician at USC Dornsife College, a Research Technician at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, and teaching programming through Fun with Academics. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Marine Science from the University of the Ryukyus and a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Findlay.
