Benjamin Grosof

Benjamin Grosof is a prominent figure in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as Program Manager in the Defense Sciences Office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since September 2023, where research programs are created and managed, focusing on the foundations of artificial intelligence. Prior to this role, Grosof co-founded the Centaur AI Institute, fostering long-term research in neurosymbolic AI, and served as Chief Scientist at Coherent Knowledge, guiding the development of advanced AI software for logical knowledge representation. Grosof's extensive experience includes co-founding and leading multiple organizations, such as RuleML Inc., and consulting through Benjamin Grosof & Associates, as well as holding significant positions in large corporations such as Accenture and Vulcan, Inc. With a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, Grosof has made substantial contributions to the advancement of AI technology and its application across various domains, including defense, finance, and healthcare.
