Cary Pint

Cary Pint is an Associate Professor and the Charles Schafer Chair of Engineering at Iowa State University, where they lead the ENERG @ ISU research group focused on energy devices and novel materials. Previously, they served as an Adjoint Associate Professor at Vanderbilt University and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley. Cary began their academic journey with a BS in Physics from the University of Northern Iowa, followed by MS and Ph.D. degrees in Applied Physics from Rice University. They have also co-founded SkyNano LLC, where they pioneer technologies for converting carbon dioxide into valuable materials, and have held roles at Intel Corporation and DARPA, showcasing their expertise in engineering, environment, and energy.
