Janee P.

Janee P. is an accomplished professional in the fields of cybersecurity and information technology, currently serving as Deputy Program Manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since November 2022 and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University in the City of New York since July 2020. Previous experience includes roles as Chief Cyber Advisor for the US Army and a variety of positions at The Army Cyber Institute at West Point, demonstrating significant leadership in cyber operations from May 2019 to November 2022. Janee's extensive background in the US Army spans over a decade, covering technical and managerial roles in cyber defense and satellite communications. Academically, Janee holds a PhD in Information Technology focusing on Information Assurance and Cybersecurity from Capella University, a Master’s degree from Florida Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree from Purdue Global.
