Marco Castro

Marco Castro currently serves as a Program Security Representative at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) within the Security & Intelligence Directorate since April 2022. Prior to this role, Castro was employed at BAE Systems, Inc. as a CPSO/Principal Security Specialist, where responsibilities included supporting multi-million dollar Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs following various regulatory standards. Castro’s earlier experience with the United States Air Force included serving as Security Operations Manager, where leadership involved briefing senior leaders on security matters and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense regulations. Additional roles at the Air Force included Site Security Manager and Physical Security Specialist, focusing on threat assessments and security enforcement for a large population of military and civilian personnel.
