Patrick Shafto is an accomplished academic and professional with a diverse background in mathematics, computer science, and psychology. Currently serving as a Program Manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and holding the position of Founder at Redpoll, Patrick also contributes to academia as a Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science and the Henry Rutgers Term Chair in Data Science at Rutgers University - Newark. Additionally, Patrick is a member of the Institute for Advanced Study and previously worked as an Associate Professor of Psychology and Computer Science at the University of Louisville. Patrick Shafto earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cognitive Psychology from Northeastern University, where a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees were also obtained.
