Simon Klink

Simon Klink is an accomplished procurement and contracting professional with extensive experience in both defense and operations management. Currently serving as the Prototypes Division Director and Contracting Officer at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since August 2022, Simon represents DARPA as the principal business and acquisition advisor for high-stakes projects. Previous roles include Division Head of Air Vehicle Mission Systems at the F-35 Joint Program Office and Supervisory Contracting Officer for the U.S. Department of Defense-F-35 Lightning II Program. Simon's background also includes significant contributions as a Contracts Specialist at Naval Air Systems Command, a professional athlete with the San Francisco Giants, and as a co-owner of Structures INC. Educationally, Simon holds a degree in Economics from Purdue University Daniels School of Business.
