Marius-Cristian Frunza

Marius-Cristian Frunza is the Head of Research at DarQube. Marius-Cristian has a long and varied history in finance, dating back to 2006 when they worked as a Senior Consultant at EY. In 2007 they moved to Aon where they worked as a Risk Management Consultant before being headhunted by Groupe Caisse des Dépôts in 2009. There they worked on Carbon emissions trading until 2011 when they left to join Schwarzthal Kapital as an Advisory and Research. Marius-Cristian remained there until 2021 when they took their current role at DarQube. Throughout their career, Marius-Cristian has been an expert witness in financial topics and has gained a wealth of experience in environmental finance, financial regulation, and risk management.

Marius-Cristian Frunza holds a PhD in Financial Mathematics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and an HDR in Economics from the same university. Marius-Cristian also studied at the École Polytechnique.
