Silvana Lopez

Silvana Lopez has worked in a variety of roles in the field of intellectual property since 2003. Silvana began their career as an Assistant of Consulting attorney in Industrial Property and Franchises at Seneor & Seneor Abogados (Trademark Protection S.A.) in 2003. In 2004, they moved to Lloreda Camacho & Co. as a Consulting attorney in Industrial Property. In 2005, they worked as a Consulting attorney in Industrial Property and Franchises at Grupo Americano de Franquicias S.A., and in 2006 they moved to Prieto & Carrizosa as a Consulting attorney in Industrial Property. From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Clarke, Modet & Co. in a variety of roles, including Head of the Patent Department, Head of the Patent Legal Unit, and Consulting attorney in Intellectual Property. In 2018, they joined The Blockchain Challenge as Chief Executive Officer. Since 2020, they have held the roles of International Business Director and Chief Executive Officer at ClarkeModet, and Co-founder and board member at Darshana.

Silvana Lopez obtained their Attorney at Law degree from Universidad de Los Andes in 2005. In 2015, they began their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2016. In May 2016, they received a Sustainability Certificate from the MIT Sloan School of Management. In October 2017, they earned a Design Thinking for Innovation Certificate from Coursera.
