John Vansant

John VanSant is an experienced professional in operational excellence and lean management with a robust background spanning over two decades across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Regional Operational Excellence Manager at Dart Container since September 2020, John leads training and implementation of lean tools in collaboration with plant leadership teams. Previous roles include Site Training and Safety Manager, Value Stream Manager, and Regional Performance Improvement Manager at Sealed Air Corporation, where John successfully managed and executed safety training programs and led manufacturing operations. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Columbus McKinnon, HBD Industries, and Draka Communications, focusing on lean transformation, process improvement, and operational performance. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point, class of 1987.
