Richard's earlier career includes roles as a Loss Prevention Specialist at Lowe's from June 2005 to August 2007 and Walmart from June 2002 to June 2005, focusing on preventing product loss and apprehending shoplifters. Richard's educational background includes ongoing studies for a Bachelor's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at Pennsylvania College of Technology and a degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Delaware Technical and Community College.
