Francis O'Hara

Francis O'Hara has extensive experience in the life assurance industry, serving as Company Secretary at Darta Saving Life Assurance dac and Allianz Global Life since January 2017. As an Independent Consultant since 2008, Francis provides contract-based support for domestic and international life assurance companies, with an emphasis on finance, compliance, and process improvement. Francis held the position of Head of Internal Audit at Darta Saving Life Assurance dac from 2010 to 2016 and has held various finance management roles across several companies, including Area Life International Assurance Limited and Scottish Provident Ireland. Prior to these roles, Francis worked as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young. Francis is an approved nominee by the Central Bank of Ireland for key roles in finance and internal audit functions. Francis is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
