Matthew Barone

Matthew Barone is an experienced communications and marketing executive with a robust background in healthcare, education, and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director of System Communications at Dartmouth Health, Barone oversees the organization-wide communication strategy and collaborates with various leadership teams. Prior roles include Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Cheshire Medical Center, Executive Director of University Communications at Franklin Pierce University, and Chief External Relations Officer at Marlboro College. Barone's extensive experience encompasses brand strategy, media relations, and digital communications across multiple institutions. An alumnus of Emerson College with a Master's degree in Media Research and Communications Management, Barone also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Quinnipiac University.
