Dr. Keith Loud

Vice President, Pediatric Specialty Services at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics

Dr. Keith Loud has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dr. Keith started their career in 2004 as the Medical Director of Adolescent Health Services at Akron Children's Hospital. From 2010 to 2014, they served as the Chief of General Academic Pediatrics at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. In 2013, they also became the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. In 2014, they took on the role of Dartmouth Health Children's Physician-in-Chief at Dartmouth Health, where they provided strategic and operational oversight for the pediatric enterprise. In 2016, they became the Vice President of Pediatric Specialty Services at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Throughout their career, Dr. Keith Loud has been extensively involved in research, education, quality and safety, patient experience, and community relations efforts.

Dr. Keith Loud received their AB in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University in 1989. Dr. Keith then pursued their MDCM in Medicine at McGill University from 1992 to 1996. Later, they completed their postgraduate studies in Pediatrics at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth from 1997 to 2000. In 2002 and 2004, they obtained an MSc in Clinical Research from Harvard Medical School. Recently, they graduated with an M.Mgmt in International Masters for Health Leadership from McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management in 2021. In terms of certifications, Dr. Keith Loud holds various qualifications including Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine certifications from the American Board of Pediatrics, as well as certifications in Sports Medicine and Clinical Densitometry.
