Annette Chism

Annette Chism, MBA, CRM, currently serves as the Senior Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Dartmouth College since December 2021, overseeing safety compliance and EHS operations. Previously, Annette held the position of Director of Environmental, Health, Safety & Risk Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from July 2011 to December 2021, where responsibilities included managing compliance and assessing strategic risks. Additionally, Annette chaired the Risk Control Committee for the Pinnacle Consortium of Higher Education, promoting risk control activities from January 2016 to December 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as Risk Manager at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and roles at the Federal Aviation Administration and the US Army. Annette Chism holds an MBA from Norwich University, a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Communication from Royal Roads University, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Applied Business Public Administration from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
