Laura Gardner

Laura Gardner currently serves as the Senior Associate Director of Leadership Gifts for Greater New York at Dartmouth College since April 2017, following previous roles as Associate Director and Managing Director of Special Gifts within the same institution. Prior to Dartmouth, Laura worked as the Bay Area Development Director at Summer Search from August 2014 to March 2017 and as Development Director at Stand for Children from June 2011 to July 2014, where fundraising strategies and team leadership were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes serving as Development Manager at Stand for Children and as a Resident in Social Enterprise at New Sector Alliance, focusing on nonprofit consulting. Laura's initial career steps were completed through roles such as Partnership and Analysis Associate at Raising A Reader MA and an internship in the Office of Representative Barney Frank. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Education Policy from Dartmouth College, earned in 2010.
