David Shiu

David Shiu has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. In 2015, they were an Intern at NCR Corporation, where they went through the life cycle of NCR's Point-of-Sales System, ALOHA, and worked with their Network Security Service. David also held a Summer Intern position at UNT Health Science Center (UNTHSC), where they did lab work for research on a new nano-particle HIV drug. In 2016, they were a Room Operator at Texas Panic Room. In 2017, they were a Room Operator at Texas Panic Room and a Web Developer at Cockrell School of Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin. In 2018, they were a Software Developer Intern at PestRoutes Software. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer Intern at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they developed an application to quickly and scalably format, generate, and publish data to Apache Kafka topics for developers. Finally, in 2021, they are a Software Engineer at Darwin Homes - Property Management.

David Shiu obtained their IC3 Digital Literacy Certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in May 2014. In May 2016, they received their Customer Service and Sales Certification from the NRF Foundation. David then attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
