Karen George

Karen George has worked in various roles in the accounting and finance industry since 2000. Karen began their career as a Team Leader at Public Interest Communications in 2000. Karen then went on to work as a Senior Accounting Intern at BioFire Diagnostics, Inc. in 2006, followed by a role as an Information Systems Specialist/ Writing Assistant at the University of Utah Writing Center in 2005. In 2004, they were a Project & Accounting Manager at Dante Bertelli & Associates, and in 2008 they became a Senior Property Accountant, CPA at Extra Space Storage (NYSE: EXR). From 2013-2014, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Concentric 9 LLC, and from 2015-2022 they were an Accounting Product Manager, Accounting Business Analyst, and Accounting Consultant at Entrata. Karen is currently a Certified Public Accountant at Bertelli Accounting & Finance, PLLC, and is soon to become a Senior Accounting Product Manager at Darwin Homes - Property Management in 2022.

Karen George began their educational career by attending the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Karen then returned to the same school from 2009 to 2011 to earn their Master of Business Administration in Accounting. In February 2014, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the state of Utah.
