Muavia Usmani has a diverse work experience of seven years. In 2014, they were brought onboard as a Software Engineer at FirstStep Communications to build an employee management and lead tracking software for the newly established call centre. In 2015, they worked as a Web Developer at Pak Servers. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at Orbit-Ed, contributing to workforce management and e-commerce modules of the platform being built for the company's main client. In 2017, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at HireNinja. In 2018, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at EDJX, making important contributions such as dashboard design, RBAC (Role Based Access Control) based multi tenancy architecture, and HATEOAS compliance for API using ION Spec. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at HireNinja, leading the frontend engineering team and working on end to end design, prioritisation, and execution of features. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Darwin Homes since 2021.

Muavia Usmani obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) between 2011 and 2015. In 2016, they completed a Business and Financial Modeling Specialization from Coursera. Most recently, in 2020, they completed a Developing APIs with Google Cloud's Apigee API Platform Specialization from Coursera.
