Carlos Alberto (Beto) Souza Barros has had a diverse work experience. Carlos Alberto (Beto) is currently the Founder & Co-CEO of Darwin Seguros since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Angel Investor at One More - Balance Drink starting in February 2019.

Carlos also worked at Stone Pagamentos, where they held various roles. Carlos Alberto (Beto) was the Treasury, DCM, Pricing & KA Anticipation Desk Partner from October 2019 to July 2021. Before that, they served as Treasurer and Partner from October 2016 to October 2019. Carlos Alberto (Beto) started their journey at Stone Pagamentos as a Treasury Specialist in July 2016 and transitioned to the other roles within the company.

Before joining Stone Pagamentos, Carlos co-founded PF Tecnologia in August 2014 and served as a Co-Founder until July 2016. Carlos Alberto (Beto) also gained valuable experience at Goldman Sachs, where they worked as a Treasury Associate from December 2014 to April 2015 and as a Treasury Analyst from July 2012 to December 2014. Carlos Alberto (Beto) started their career as an Estagiario at Goldman Sachs from August 2010 to June 2012.

Carlos began their professional journey as an Estagiário at Itaú Unibanco Seguros Corporativos S.A. in May 2010, where they worked until July 2010.

Carlos Alberto Souza Barros attended Colegio Visconde de Porto Seguro from 1995 to 2007. In 2008, they obtained the certification of "Aspirante-a-Oficial de Cavalaria" from CPOR/SP - Exército Brasileiro. That same year, they enrolled in FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, where they studied "Administração de empresas" from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they participated in the Global Leadership Pre-MBA Program at Yale School of Management. In addition to their education, Carlos also holds the certification of "CPA 20" from ANBIMA.
