Juan Ignacio Forcén Carvalho has a diverse work experience in various roles. Juan Ignacio started their career in 2010 as an Automation Programmer at EiNA, Estudios de Ingeniería Adaptada. In this role, they were responsible for programming robots, PLC, CNC, HMI, PC, and computer vision. Juan Ignacio later became an Automation Leader at the same company, where they focused on the startup of machines.

In 2017, Juan Ignacio joined das-Nano as a Computer Vision Engineer. Juan Ignacio worked on computer vision projects for das-Nano and veridas.

Since 2019, Juan Ignacio has been working at Veridas as the Leader of the Digital ID verification team. In this role, they guide the development team efforts in achieving the goals of their Digital ID verification product. Juan Ignacio is involved in product development and collaborates with teammates to analyze and solve technical problems throughout the research and software development process.

Juan Ignacio Forcén Carvalho's education history starts with obtaining a degree in Industrial Electronics, specializing in Industrial Electronics, from the Universidad de La Rioja in 2007. Juan Ignacio then went on to earn a degree in Automation and Industrial Electronics, also known as Ingeniero en Automática y Electrónica Industrial, from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2009.

Afterward, Juan pursued a Master of Engineering in Systems and Control at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. and completed it in 2015.

In 2016, Juan enrolled in the Universidad Pública de Navarra, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science. Juan Ignacio successfully completed their PhD in 2020.

Juan Ignacio Forcén Carvalho also has several additional certifications. In 2013, they became a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) from National Instruments. In 2015, they obtained a certificate in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates (Stanford) and completed the Artificial Intelligence for Robotics course by Georgia Tech through Udacity. In 2017, they completed the Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree program offered by Udacity. Lastly, in 2019, Juan obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org.
