Purity M. has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as Head of Risk and Compliance, East Africa for Dash, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were Group Compliance, Policies & Procedures Manager at DPO Group from 2019 to 2021. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Business Consultant-Risk Management, Internal Audit & Compliance. Before that, they were a Senior Associate at Pricewaterhousecoopers Kenya from 2011 to 2018, where they conducted & led teams in Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management, and control effectiveness testing. Purity also worked as an Associate at Pricewaterhousecoopers Kenya from 2011 to 2018, where they were responsible for funds management, budget monitoring, reporting, grant programmes administration, internal audits, and fund analysis.

Purity M. attended St Patrick's Senior School from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained their Highschool Diploma. Purity then attended the University of Nairobi from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Zoology/Chemistry. In 2013, they obtained their Six Sigma -White belt certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification.
