Joel Yu

Joel Yu is currently a Co Founder at Dash Living, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they were a Co Founder at IntheHood Hospitality since March 2016. In this role, they focused on providing curated and personalized apartment-style rentals in Central Tokyo.

Before that, Joel worked at Airbnb as a Senior Business Development Manager from June 2012 to January 2016. Joel played a key role in establishing Airbnb in the Greater China Region, with a focus on Taiwan and Hong Kong markets. Joel sourced, executed, and managed partnerships and field marketing events, developed demand strategies, and educated hosts to improve guest experience. Joel also researched market trends and spending habits in the Greater China Region.

Joel also has prior experience as a Senior Consultant at Connected Group from November 2011 to June 2012. Additionally, they served as a Vice President at Bank of America from April 2006 to October 2010 and as a Manager at Wells Fargo from November 2002 to November 2005.

Joel Yu attended the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Joel specialized in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship during their time at the university.
