Marya Kaska has over 20 years of professional experience in market research and consulting. Marya began their career in 1997 as a Senior Market Research Analyst at National Semiconductor. In 2000, they held Market Research Analyst positions at Microsoft WebTV and Alta Vista. From 2001 to 2006, Marya worked as a Senior Research Consultant at Satmetrix Systems, and a Senior Market Research Consultant at QRA. In 2006, they took on the role of Senior Research Consultant, Europe at CustomerSat, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of customer satisfaction and loyalty programs for world-wide clients. Finally, in 2013, Marya founded and became President of Datafin.
Marya Kaska has a diverse educational background. Marya received a BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1989, majoring in Language and Culture. In 1990, they obtained a Certificate from the University of Cambridge in Royal Society of Arts, TEFL. Marya then went on to receive an MBA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in 1998. In 1999, they obtained Certificates from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business in Principles of Marketing Research and from the University of Notre Dame in School of Marketing Research. Finally, in 2006, they obtained a Certificate from Burke Institute in Proficiency in Quantitative Analysis. Marya Kaska also holds two certifications from Scrum.org, Professional Scrum Product Owner I and Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I), which they obtained in 2020.
