Dennis Tan

Dennis Tan is an experienced entrepreneur with a diverse range of roles and accomplishments. In 2004, they began their entrepreneurial journey with various successful ventures in sectors such as import/export, web-design, software development, and event management. Dennis co-founded and served as CEO of several companies, including Dashmote and The Influencers Movement, where they focused on leveraging artificial intelligence and influencer marketing. Dennis was also involved in the creation of collaborative organizations, such as Lobulu Holding and GNEC, aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and connectivity among various student communities. Furthermore, they played a pivotal role in founding Dutch Students for Entrepreneurship and ECE Students, which aimed to empower and support entrepreneurial students. Additionally, they served as the Nelson at MasterPeace, a grassroots peace movement promoting global peace building. Their most recent role was as the CEO and Co-Founder of Meter., a company that connects brands with suitable influencers to increase social reach.

Dennis Tan began their education in 2009 at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they studied Chinese Language Studies until 2010. Dennis then attended the University of Malaya from 2010 to 2011, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Following this, they joined Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2011 and completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Business Economics in 2014. During their time at Erasmus University, they also studied Fiscal Economics and Public Administration, earning additional BSc degrees in both fields from 2012 to 2015. In 2012, they participated in the Entrepreneurship Summer School, further enhancing their knowledge in the field. Additionally, Dennis Tan obtained several certifications, including Project Management, Expert in Sales, and Management & Leadership from Kenneth Smith Training in October and September 2012. In July 2011, they also earned a certification in Entrepreneurship from the European Institute for Industrial Leadership.
