DASNY
Richard Buckey has over 30 years of experience in the construction management field. Richard has worked at DASNY (Dormitory Authority - State of New York) since 2000, starting as a Project Manager and then advancing to Senior Project Manager and Regional Project Manager. In these roles, they provided planning, design, and construction services to various public entities in upstate New York. Richard managed both small-scale and large-scale projects, including the $365 million SUNY Binghamton East Campus Housing expansion. Prior to their time at DASNY, Richard worked at JM Waller Associates as a Program Manager.
Richard Buckey attended SUNY New Paltz from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geology/Earth Science. During this time, they also pursued a degree in Environmental Earth Sciences with a focus on Geology/Earth Science.
